Sustainable Works will offer free and educational Green Living Workshops at the G2 Gallery in Venice. The workshops will be held on Wednesdays from 7 to 8:30pm starting January 25th, continuing thru March 7th.
They are able to offer these workshops in Los Angeles in 2012 thanks to funding from the LA Department of Water and Power through a grant from the US Department of Energy, and the support of local Councilmen Bill Rosendahl and Paul Koretz.
Sustainable Works has been offering the FREE "Green Living Workshops" to community residents since 1998. The Action Oriented 11⁄2 hour 6 week Workshop series covers: Water, Energy, Waste, Chemicals, Transportation and Shopping/Food issues and will broaden participant's scope of environmental problems by showing them the global, national and local impacts of their daily choices. Participants will also be given ten impactful solutions that they can take action on and that will help them save money as well as a Sustainable WorksBook, which is a great resource for their continued journey towards sustainability.
