We had met other real estate agents, but when we met Bandele at an open house, we trusted her. She sent us listings that met our criteria (for example wood floors and a converted garage), sometimes two-three emails a day. You hear about other real estate agents and how they just want to sell to you. We developed a collaborative relationship with Bandele. She really made theeffort to get to know us and what we wanted. She is kind and compassionate. She helped us so much with finding our house and with the deal itself. We had another place, but it fell through in escrow. Then we found this house and the bank was making it very hard for the loan to go through. Bandele went above the loan officers we were dealing with, up to the regional manager! With her help, we were able to get he loan funded and approved before Christmas! Bandele was available to us at any time—even late night meetings. She worked around our schedule. Because of her background in law she looked over the contracts and was able to see any potential problems. She’d say “there is a clause on page 12, line 20, that I want to look at with you” and then she would explain it to us so we’d understand it. We have never met anyone so detail-oriented!

I was looking for a real estate broker to buy a house and I was lucky to find Bandele in an ad in a real estate magazine. Initially I chose her because she said she worked in various areas. We spent a lot of time together looking at houses all over LA County. Then I decided I wanted to flips some houses, so we shifted gears and she did all the legwork to find properties in my price range. In 2006, she helped me purchase a house in Woodland Hills. It was a little far from me, so she did work with contractors. After five months the house was remodeled. It didn’t sell right away, so I became a landlord for two years. Bandele did all the contracts, took care of rental agreement and dealt with my tenant for me. She would even front money for repairs and I would reimburse her. When we the lowered price on the house, she did all the open houses. Again, she did all the contracts for me. I have no complaints at all about her. She was excellent. She really worked tirelessly. I sold the property at the end of 2009. I was fortunate to have sold it, and I credit her with that sale.

My stepfather passed and my mother, a quadriplegic, had a huge ranch to sell.
Bandele came to the table and helped with a plethora of things regarding the sale of this property. She knew the legal aspects involved and the right publications to show in. She’s incredibly thorough! She handled things far and above the sale of the ranch. This all happened just as our economy was crashing. I have friends who lost their homes at this time but within a few months Bandele had a buyer for me. I felt so fortunate to know her. She made sure the word got out to all the right places: home magazines and internet sites. I don’t know where I would be today without her. I know she saved me hundreds of thousands of dollars. This isn’t just a lot of fluff I’m telling you! She took a load of worries off my back. She did a hundred more things than the average realtor. She even helped me find a fulltime caretaker for my mom and found people to help us move out of the ranch property. After all was said and done, she put bells on the deal by taking me out for a lobster lunch!

One of the co-workers at my school recommended Bandele to us. Because we weren’t sure whether we were going to sell or modify our loan, I sat on her phone number for a long while. After seven months of discouraging negotiations with the two banks on our loan, I called Bandele. She could tell I was frustrated and annoyed; she calmed me down, right from the beginning of our relationship. She took down my information and set up an appointment in our home. I was really impressed with that! A couple of days later she showed up with a forty-page book of options and information. She had made a thorough investigation and came prepared with answers to questions we had not even asked yet. At this point we just wanted to get rid of the house and start fresh. Bandele connected with us right away and after a one-hour meeting we felt we could trust her. Everything she said made so much sense and we believed she would follow through with everything. She took over the negotiations with the banks and I felt an immediate weight lift from my shoulders. I was pregnant at the time and wanted to make the move before the baby was born. Even though I did not know where we were going to live, I felt less stress with Bandele on the job. She was in tune with our needs from the start. She would call or email me to let me know what was going on or to ask for certain documents, so I knew what was happening at all times. Although we wanted to sell ASAP we did not want too many intrusive open houses. She has a lot of connections and brought a great photographer to our home. After only four open houses I was impressed with the number of serious buyers that showed up. She really knew where to advertise. Because it was a short sale and it was going to be a lengthy process, Bandele developed a good relationship with the buyers. To help us select a candidate that would stick with us through the short sale process, she gave us a breakdown of the potential buyers. One of the banks was very difficult to work with and although Bandele kept me informed, I was so glad to not be participating in that negotiation. She kept all of her initial promises and I was not disappointed in anything. After the sale of our home she helped us find a suitable house to rent. I had a small child, a newborn and a mother-in-law living with us and we found a wonderful house to rent. There were so many applicants that the landlady was just sitting on it, waiting for the perfect tenant. Bandele worked her negotiating magic with the leasing agent and got the landlady to meet our family. She actually SOLD us to the landlady! Through it all, she sent birthday cards to my kids and husband and gave us a bottle of champagne when all was done. When we are ready to purchase a home again, we know who we will call. I have already recommended Bandele to others. She went above and beyond anything we ever expected from a realtor!

Bandele was a referral from a coworker. When I was looking to buy a home, I needed someone special for the type of loan I was using—a revitalization loan through the City of Los Angeles. I went to meet with her and was immediately impressed with amount of time she spent with me. We went over the home buying steps. Even just the first day was very helpful to me because she educated me. Most agents don’t want to do work and the research, but Bandele wasn’t discouraged by the atypical loan situation. She is so easy-going and easy to communicate with. I was impressed with her follow through. If I had a question she would call me back. She made the process so much easier. I don’t know what I’d have done if I had another agent. I was talking with another agent and the service from Bandele cannot be compared with anyone else. She went above and beyond at times. At one point I was discouraged, and she looked in locations I normally wouldn’t consider. She is a very well rounded agent in terms of knowing the area so well. I consider Bandele a dear friend and a member of the family. She was that important to the whole process.

I found Bandele through a business-networking group and was impressed with her education, knowledge and that she was so forthcoming. She really knows her stuff! I’m a physician and we were seeking commercial real estate at the time. I had been working with some other realtors for three years and in those three years they only came up with three possibilities. And I had to call or email them to find out what was going on! The day after Bandele and I spoke she had ten places for us to consider! Within one month we were in negotiations on a property. We ended up deciding to lease a property instead of purchase and Bandele helped us with that entire process, too. She was always available when I called and took the time to thoroughly explain anything. She even worked out our finances! We are now working with her to purchase a home. She is an awesome advocate and negotiator and went far above and beyond our expectations of a realtor. She charges the standard 3% but for what all she did for us, she earned and deserved every penny! She wants you to win and will do whatever it takes to make that happen.

Bandele is a gem! She helped us sell our condo and find a home after we just had married. I had a five-year-old stepson and a newborn and when my husband was at work, she’d take me around to find a new place to live. She did not rush us, didn’t put her opinion on the house. She was very accommodating, very patient. When we sold our condo, she did the open houses, and worked around our schedule. She negotiated the short sale and the bank just settled. Bandele is so easy to get along with! We enjoyed working with her so much she now comes to every barbeque we have, and she sends us cards for our birthdays. It was hard because my husband is a teacher and we couldn’t afford our house anymore. We were nervous. Bandele has a wealth of knowledge and gave us the best advice. We trust her. We could call her at nine at night and she would come to our house. After the short sale, she gave us tips on cleaning up our credit so we can purchase again in next couple of years. We have referred her to other people, and they refer her too. She has a background in real estate law and really helped with our rental agreement. While she is personable, Bandele is also very aware of boundaries—she doesn’t get overly personal. She has dinners and invites clients and they join her circle of friends. Everything from Bandele comes straight from her heart.

I have not had the highest opinion of realtors in the past so when I decided to sell my house in Los Angeles and move back to Louisville, a friend of mine who knows the business said she would screen some realtors for me. My friend found Bandele and really liked her. Bandele has a background in law, and is very familiar with the San Fernando Valley, as she has lived there for years. When I spoke to Bandele, she was very professional, and gave me none of the heavy sales vibe I have gotten from other realtors in the past. I needed someone who knew the in’s and out’s because I was selling my home, a very unique property, after the bottom had fallen out of the market. Also, I moved to Kentucky before the house sold, knowing that I would have to depend on her to be a support for me, and maneuver getting buyers approved.
Bandele ran a couple of open houses herself. We had three offers with the first. They were all within the range, but at that point, qualified buyers were hard to get with the banks tightening up. Bandele suggested trying a second open house the next weekend. We ended up having six offers in total, and she thought that some of these people would qualify. She was able to create an air of authority and get people to trust her. Bandele did it all: not only the open houses, but also the background checks on everyone. She also had all of the potential buyers write letters to me as to why they wanted the house.
I was very fortunate to have Bandele because I had left the appliances on and one night the icemaker in the refrigerator came loose and flooded the second floor. Bandele went in the next day and told me the bad news and then said she would take care of it! She called the insurance and the restoration people— negotiated all of that for me. I would have been sunk if she hadn’t been willing to take that on.
I was so impressed that when she recently asked me to give a reference for her,
I said “Of course!” Without a doubt, I have never seen someone go so far above and beyond.
Bandele was also very optimistic and supportive. She was on top of the sale the whole time and it lasted April through September. All those months—and with the flooding and the restoration, and reassuring the buyers that everything would be taken care of!
She’s been very gracious and we have stayed in contact.
