We were moving and I needed our washer and dryer prepared for the move. Jo-Mi Plumbing was really responsive to my call, prompt and helpful. Everyone I dealt with was friendly and accommodating. They arrived early and worked within our schedule. Their employees are courteous, caring and professional. I felt comfortable having them in my home. Their quote was reasonable and they stuck with it. I also appreciate that they have a friendly, efficient office staff to provide support when they are out in the field. I’ve been using Jo-Mi for about ten years now. Their office is right in my neighborhood. They have had the same bright and thoughtful employees for years. I know the owner and the plumbers. I have a four-unit apartment building in West LA and they know every room in the building. In fact, they were just here this morning. They are always polite. I adore that they take their shoes off before coming into a room. I had a sewer back up and when it was repaired they actually cleaned the shower. I contact them by phone and email. Their pricing is in line with other plumbing companies, but their service is so much better. They have also worked in my home and for my neighbors. All of their employees are fantastic, but I always ask for Rudy because he knows my home and apartments best. He is pretty popular, though, so sometimes there is a wait for Rudy. Jo-Mi Plumbing always gets it right. When it is fixed, it is fixed. When they come out they really hear me. They tell me what they are going to do to fix the problem. They watch out for my wallet, too, not trying to sell me the highest priced solution.

We originally had a plumber that the framing contractor hired. He smoked in the house, was an angry guy and would throw boards around when he lost a pipe. I fired him.

I looked back to neighbor2neighbor which I had saved. I remembered reading about Kelvin at Jo Mi Plumbing, that he had progressive ideas and practices for heating, cooling and plumbing.

Kelvin worked really hard and he is innovative. He researched how to heat our house with a tankless water heater. The water heats coils and the furnace blows air over the hot coils. He added a heat box that sends the hot water where it is needed most. If the furnace is on and you turn on the shower, the heat box will send the hot water to the bathroom. This system is a far superior way to heat a home. It works great. You never run out of hot water and my heating bills are low. Kelvin saved us money and energy by not using a regular furnace.

Kelvin has dedication that I have never seen in another contractor. A couple of times he worked with me until 7 or 8 o’clock at night when I know he wanted to get home to see his kids. I would never call anyone else. He is by far the best tradesman we’ve had on the whole renovation.

Kelvin headed up the job, but he had a half dozen guys working here and they were great.

I have complete and total faith and trust in Kelvin. As owner-builder, I am the general contractor, so I have been helping Kelvin. He is extremely accommodating. If I want to change a pipe they do it. It’s part of his dedication to getting the job right.
