Say one Sunday night your garbage disposal chokes on a chicken bone. You call Michael’s Valley Plumbing and the phone is answered by an actual, live human being. That human will then dispatch a fully supplied, clearly marked truck to your home, and within a couple of hours you will have a fully-certified, clean-cut member of the Local 78 plumber’s union working on your problem. And a Michael’s Valley plumber can do anything—Heimlich your sink, repipe your pad, snake your system, or install a tankless water heater—all without draining your checkbook.
“Our guys love their trade and take pride in what they do,” says Michael Mize, president of the company. “Whether it’s exposed or covered by a wall, our piping is straight, clean and neat.”
Michael’s Valley Plumbing is an impressive operation run by folks who excel in customer satisfaction and creating lifelong customers. Michael’s bottom line: “We want people to call us again and again.”
Tip: “Never pour fat or grease or cooking oils down your drain. These fats solidify in cold pipes and cause clogs. To dispose, drain fat into a Tupperware container or empty can and let it sit on counter until it is solid. Then dispose of it in the trash.” – Michael
Michael’s Valley replaced all of my pipes with copper. This company is excellent. The head guy came out to check on the work three times a day and he kept me apprised of their progress. The workers were respectful. Their pricing was $400 less than the other quote I got. Michael employs union workers who know what they are doing. He took out the proper permit and posted it on the house. He showed me the site on the computer where I could check to see that the permitting was being done correctly. I thought I should replace the pipes going out to the street, but Michael evaluated the pipes and thought I should save the $1500 and see if the water pressure improved once the other pipes were replaced. The water pressure is fine now, so he saved me a lot of money! He also installed easy on and off valves for the sprinkler system and at the tankless water heaters. Recently one of the filters for the tankless water heaters popped off. I turned off the water and called him. Michael was there within hours to fix it—at no charge!

Michael unplugged a bathroom sink for us. I really liked Michael and his helper a lot. While he was there I asked him to check out a leaky faucet. He tried to tighten the nut, but it was too old. To save me money, Michael suggested that I buy a new faucet at a plumbing supply place and use his name so I could get his 20% discount. Michael is extremely helpful and his pricing is very competitive.

Michael’s Valley Plumbing is good to their word, reliable, solid and professional. Their prices are reasonable—not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. They came to work here on an underground leak. Before we bought the house, there had been some shoddy work done. Michael’s has integrity and accountability. They are personable and it all went smoothly. They know what they are doing.

I first called Michael’s Valley Plumbing to repair a shower faucet. Two other companies I called gave outrageous estimates. When Michael’s came out, they immediately knew what the problem was, only did what needed to be done, and did it at half the cost of the other estimates. They are honest and straight forward, and do not try to make a huge project out of a simple repair. I called them back when I needed a water heater repair. They are easy to get a hold of, quick to schedule an appointment and quick to resolve the problem at a reasonable cost. They’re honest with no hard sell!

I don’t want to give the impression that Mr. Handyman does not do plumbing work, because we do. That said, Michael’s Valley Plumbing did a large plumbing repair at Mr. Handyman’s home and did such a good job that, when a job involves digging up a main line, we refer Michael’s Valley Plumbing to our clients.
- Donna Marie, Mr. Handyman
I’m in commercial real estate and I use Michael’s Valley for my clients, have referred them to my friends and family and have used him in my own home. They show up promptly and do the right thing the first time so there is no need for follow-up. Their fees are reasonable and fair for the job done. They are also easy to reach and they come out promptly when I need an estimate for a job. They recently changed their billing system so that it is much more detailed and easy to read. Mike has an extensive commercial plumbing background so I trust him even more with my projects.
