As an interior designer I know how things can get difficult for contractors with pricing, delays from subs and distributors, and the like. Ben was really on top of things. He has a very good crew, which is critical and he can make sure things are done right. He has good follow up, is creative and he has good communication skills which makes him easy to work with. He is not the cheapest - mid priced - but he was worth it. He did a lot of work on our hillside home as well as a major remodel on OUR business. He is almost like an architect because of his ability to come up with solutions to construction and design details. Ben is the best contractor I have found.

I am a fairly sophisticated client; I come from four generations involved in the construction of high rise office buildings. Ben was continually involved in the creative process, as this was a design build. We were designing, while we were building. Our budget changed as we went because I went to higher end finishes and Ben met this revised budget. This was a very high end job with absolute granite counters, cherrywood cabinets, all oakwood flooring and wired through out for flat screen TV’s and a sound system. Ben was always on time and I can’t say enough about him.

I have only good things to say about Ben! He built our home 6 years ago and he always been there for us. During the last 6 years, if we have had any small jobs, like a door knob loose, he just has one of his guys come up and take care of the problem for us. He’s really good and we have had absolutely no problems with him. Ben was involved in the creative process with the changes to the original plans, but he also worked well with the architect and followed his plans. His prices are fair and reasonable.

I have not worked with any other contractors except Ben. He did our major remodel in 1989 and he was very accommodating. We did make some changes to the original plan that affected the budget and we were satisfied. There was no delay on the project. We felt it went reasonably well for a major remodel. We rented a house nearby and I was on the job almost every day. We recently had a minor situation on a duplex we own which Ben was very quick to rectify. Ben was on time, he did what they needed to do as they needed to do it. He is pleasant, reasonable and cooperative.
