Debra Morrison is “the” photographer that everyone needing photography service should hire. Given my history with photography and how long it normally takes to get a satisfactory picture, (sometimes intended smiles may come off as smirks), I was really hoping that Debra will be “that” photographer who will capture all the right expressions so that I could at least get a couple of acceptable pictures to select from. I had seen a sampling of Debra’s work with other business owners and they all looked happy, relaxed, and trustworthy. When I finally met Debra, in person, she immediately established a relaxed, comfortable and collaborative work environment. She made so many brilliant and perceptive suggestions, exuded patience, listened and articulated back what was working so that those expressions could be recaptured in several outfit changes. I even asked Debra to create some notepads and calendars with some of the photos and she exceeded my expectations on all levels. I was astounded at the number of excellent pictures that she produced. She really knows her stuff, she is cost effective, and will be my photographer for life and I look forward to her memorializing all landmarks in my professional and personal life. I could not be happier to have found such a talented professional photographer.

I’ve known Debra for over nine years now. She shot my mother’s 85th birthday portrait. My mom wanted the portrait to be similar to the one she had taken when she was 75. There were so many choices, it was hard to select; all excellent and high quality. My mom lives on an avocado ranch and Debra took pictures of the orchards, house and grounds. Then in the afternoon we went to a restaurant for the party. Debra made sure every person there had their picture taken with my mom and another by themselves or with a friend. She even took her shoes off and stood on a table in the corner to get a good shot of all of us. I have had pictures taken before that cost a lot more. She has an outgoing, bubbly, enthusiastic personality. She spends time talking to you to find out exactly what you want. If I would change anything about her company, I would suggest she charge more money!

Debra Morrison Photography did our family Christmas pictures, which we loved! She does my business and website photos, too. These images go out to 10,000 schools in 23 states, so they have got to be perfect! She shot with a variety of angles and lighting choices. It was difficult to make a decision, because they were all so great. I first found her on her blog and loved her wedding photos, both candid and posed. I spoke with a lot of photographers and Debra’s personality won me over. We shot for four or five hours with a lot of dress changes. I knew I wanted someone I could trust, who would be accommodating. I had a vision about what I wanted and I communicated that to her. Debra got me!
