Greg advertised as a dust-free sanding expert. We were skeptical but, as we were doing a number of rooms, a large family room, a long hall and three bedrooms, we decided that less dust would be good enough! When all was said and done, there was virtually no dust! We did get some other estimates and Fayton’s rates seemed fair. Greg is very responsible. He always came on time and did what he said he was going to do. We did shop around. My husband and I are highly allergic people, too. Greg said he would get the job done in six days and he did just that, even though he redid a couple of places on some of the floors. We did not even ask him to. He just felt he needed to. We are pleased to let everyone know about Greg’s work. My husband is not an easy person to please and he says, “Fayton’s is excellent!”

Greg put a hardwood floor on a cement slab for us. He explained exactly what he was going to do, and did it. The job went quite quickly and he was on time every day. The floor is terrific! Just gorgeous! I will refer him to family and friends. He refinished some other floors for us a few years back. I did initially shop around and his prices are right where the others are. Greg is easy-going and personable. He was referred to me by a friend that I trust. I was on vacation at the time the job was done. Greg has been in the business for a thousand years and really knows what he is doing. He refinished our living room, dining room and living area floors. I had checked out other companies and his bid was considerably lower than the others. Greg is great guy – on time and does terrific work. The dustless sanding was too good to believe. We have used Fayton’s twice, once to remove the downstairs carpet and repair and refinish the hardwood floors. He did a great job. We had him come back after ten years to re-do the downstairs floors and he removed the carpet in our upstairs and worked on those floors. He is fast and reasonably priced. We worked with Fayton’s on two occasions. He has been in this business for years and we trust his experience. First he did my in-laws two-bedroom house, built in 1926. He pulled up the carpet after forty years and brought the hardwood floors back to life. In two areas boards had to be replaced and one room had a tile height issue. Greg is resourceful and inventive; he created a gradual transition. For the second job, in our own home, Greg put new wood over some of the plywood floors. He matched the existing red oak and white oak so that it looked like it had been together all these years—another nice transition. We had some issues with one of the finishes he used—it kept bubbling up. He came back three times. The third time he brought a different batch of the finish, until the bubble problem was solved. He was happy to return until it was right. He stood behind his work at no extra charge. His prices are fair and he is always accessible. His dust-free sanding offer caught our eye. We really did not think it would be possible, but thought it might minimize the dust. A big tube runs the dust out of the window and into a trashcan. There was virtually no dust! We checked. Astounding!
