I recommend Mark Hanlon 150%. Here is all the work he has done for me so far: a patio cover, a deck, a wonderful kitchen, he redid the guest bathroom and he will redo our master bath soon. Mark is on time, gets the work done and his subs are great! He doesn’t fool around. I look forward to him doing more work on my house in the future!

I had a very positive experience with Mark Hanlon from beginning to end. We hired him for a bath remodel and we were so happy with it, we hired him to do our kitchen remodel. You can spend tons of money on a kitchen, but Mark offered ways for us to save money so we’d still be satisfied with the result. For example, he let us purchase our own appliances and he just installed them. He also saved us money by talking us into resurfacing our cabinets rather than replacing them, so they have new faces, but look like new cabinets. Mark’s bid was significantly less than what we had budgeted based on speaking with other contractors. We were really comfortable working with Mark. Every morning he would meet the subs at the site, lay out the work, and come back at the end of every day to check everything. We never had any problems like we’d had with other contractors. At the end of every day everything was cleaned and vacuumed so it wasn’t even evident that they had been there!

I live in Manhattan Beach and needed to do a gut-remodel in eight months. I removed 80,000 pounds—8 super large dumpsters full—of material from the site. His attitude is matter of fact, but not in a cocky way. His crew is also on the spot; they came and rewired the entire house in ten days. We passed the Manhattan Beach electrical, plumbing and mechanical inspections the first time out! The project was smooth and Mark Hanlon is now a friend of mine. He’s a really good guy.

He told us what something would cost, gave us choices, and then sent us to showrooms to find what we liked in that price range.
