I met Peter 15 years ago. I built a house with a high-end architect that came with his own landscape designer, but I wanted Peter to do my outdoor spaces. He designed the perfect yard. He was here for all of it, the hardscape and softscape, the pool and the cabana. I know nothing about plants and my yard is fabulous! He even comes in and spruces up my indoor plants sometimes. I’ve referred him to many friends and neighbors. I tell them that he is a gift from me to them. He is the most reliable, kindest, hands-on, fair-priced man. He is so generous with his time. I always feel I get more than I paid for. Peter is perfection!

Peter landscaped our whole property after a remodel four years ago. The house is contemporary and we did a low maintenance garden with lots of succulents, ground cover and other really gorgeous plants. We also have a water feature. As far as the design process, I had an idea to have a low-maintenance landscape. Then Peter came up with the rest. I did speak with another landscape designer at the time. I didn’t connect with the other person as much as I did with Peter. My contractor recommended him and had worked with him before so I really trusted Peter would do nice work. Peter’s pricing was not cheapest, but certainly not the most expensive either! When there were ways to cut down on costs, Peter was the one to suggest it. He is not a prima donna, just a lovely man to work with. He was easy to get in touch with, and stayed within his budgeted time.

Although I trusted the friend that referred me to Peter Ivancovich, I went with Peter to some other jobs he had done to see his work. He initially showed up with a very professional portfolio. He has a great eye and great taste. He also has a nice personality and I liked him from the beginning. He didn’t show up with a big attitude. I have a small front yard but the back yard was complicated, with a hill. Peter stayed involved every step of the way. All of his subs are also professional, good people. He had great ideas, which he explained thoroughly. Then he listened to what I wanted and what my needs were. His prices are very fair. I felt like it was a 100% collaborative project. He isn’t pushy about his ideas. He explains them and when I ask him to tell me what he thinks, he is honest with me. But we don’t have to always do it his way. Like I said, Peter is very pleasant to work with, with no attitude problems. He was here during the entire project and has kept in touch since then. My yard only needs maintenance every six months and he is always here, without my having to remember to call him. He sends me an email, followed up with a phone call. He always shows up on time exactly when he says he is going to be here. Peter is reliable, responsible, flexible and easy to work with. I wouldn’t even consider calling anyone else.

I’ve known about Peter Ivancovich for the last five to ten years. A friend who was very happy with his work referred him to me. He created a landscape plan for my front yard. He first gave me a basic drawing and we went from there. He supervised the entire job: the hardscape and the softscape. We had specific budget requirements, specific plants and a traditional design idea in mind. His price was moderate compared to some other bids. Peter even found some suitable pots for me to place around. We are very pleased with how it all came out. A few years later we redesigned the back yard and I’m happy with it, too. The estimate of his time and money spent is always accurate, as well as how long he expects the job to take. I appreciated that he heard me and did what I wanted.
