I’ve been using Fred Carrion at my house in Topanga for 11 years now. When I first bought the house, the deck needed to be painted and some of the wood replaced. The original deck had a Redwood hot tub in it that was falling apart. I purchased a new Jacuzzi, and Fred modified the deck to accommodate it. Fred is really good at woodwork. Once a year I send him a list with ten different things: fence is falling over, the gate doesn’t open right, the deck stairs need to be rebuilt, etc. Anything you ask him to do he can figure out a way to do it, and he works fast. Fred will tell you when he can come and will be there on time and stay with the project as long as it takes.

Fred was referred to me by California Cooperage Hot Tubs. I saw his portfolio on his website and liked what I saw. I had a new Jacuzzi tub installed and wanted a deck around it. Fred came out to give the estimate and stayed for hours, discussing great ideas. That's why I stuck with his bid. It was a 12 X 12 area with Ipe wood and glass blocks. His craftsmanship and quality really stands out. He even covered the screws with dowels so they wouldn't show. I was impressed with the amount of time he put into the project.
